I got to go to this yesterday. I was completely captured by each photographers work. It is hard to choose a favorite, but I really enjoyed Andrew Phelps, plus he is from Arizona so I feel like I have something in common with him, and understand his desert pieces a bit more.

Hi Ellen, I don't know if there are any reproduction of this work and suggest you check with the official Alice Neel site to learn if they have ever authorized a reproductions of this painting. Alice Neel Gallery Happy hunting. We also love Alice Neel's work.

Where did you see this painting? are there reproductions of it available anywhere? The one on the right looks exactly like my daughter. I've loved Alice Neel's work since an exhibit in Philadelphia in the early 80s, but I don't remember this one. A neighbor told me about it and I found it online--

Not quite sure which statue you like best:
1- AltarTableau (Aseberia) with Oba Akenzua, 18th century. Nigeria; Benin Kingdom
2- Head of an Oba, 16th century (ca. 1550), Nigeria; Edo, Court of Benin (Brass)
But, they are both from Benin West Africa, you can google "Benin Brass" and get more info online - And yes, they are beautiful!
Good Luck

I'm in 10th grade working on a World History assessment, I had to pick 5 artifacts and give a Description and Explanation. For this artifact I don't know how I would do that. This is a beautiful artifact. It looks very interesting.

I truly appreciated seeing the film. After so many years of hearing his name, to see him speak and to admire his paintings was an early morning gift. Thank you.
