“Paths to Impressionism: French and American Landscape Paintings”

The Newark Museum, New Jersey, will present, from September 17 to January 4, 2009, examples of 19^th Century landscapes by some of the painters that focused on the colors and beauties of nature.

This exhibit will include work by:

Claude Monet - French Impressionist Painter, 1840-1926

Childe Hassam - American Impressionist Painter, 1859-1935
