Works by 20th century artist Robert Rauschenberg, (1925 – 2008), are on display at the Meyerovich Gallery in San Francisco, CA until August 1, 2008.
Rauschenberg journeyed from Abstract Impressionism to Pop Artist during the 50’s when he started to use material not usually seen in a painting, (he often found interesting trash in the street), to “combine” both painting and sculpture.
