Art Institute of Chicago, March 13–May 4, 2008
American artist James Bishop has lived and worked in France nearly 5 decades. In his style of creating “form thru the use of color”, he painted large, square paintings and then divided them into smaller shapes- halves, quarters, etc. This exhibition will have a few of his paintings and about 100 examples of his work on paper.
