Ms. Rhodes is the Artistic Director of the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University. She is the award-winning author of Magic City, Voodoo Dreams, Douglass’s 
jewellrhodes.pngWomen, Voodoo Season and Porch Stories as well as two works of non-fiction related to the craft of writing, Free Within Ourselves and The African Americans Guide to Writing and Publishing Nonfiction.
